Quercus TFI S.A.
Quercus TFI S.A. is the first investment fund company in Poland whose offer is mainly targeted at high net-worth and ultra high-net worth Investors. The Company was established in August 2007 by the group of experienced investment specialists. In February 2008 Quercus TFI S.A. was granted a permission by the Financial Supervision Commission to conduct business operations. Several weeks later the first 4 unique subfunds of QUERCUS Parasolowy SFIO umbrella fund were offered. More QUERCUS funds were introduced in 2010.
The most important events in the history of Quercus TFI S.A. has been so far:
- IV 2008 – first distribution agreements with reputable banks, insurers, brokerage houses and financial intermediaries signed
- VI 2009 – equity capital of Quercus TFI raised up to PLN 14 m through private placement of 10 m shares (C series) at PLN 0.80
- IX 2008 – Quercus TFI becomes the first public company in the industry, shares listed on NewConnect market, debut share price equals to PLN 0.68
- IV 2009 – asset management and investment advisory services introduced by Quercus TFI S.A.
- IV, V 2010 – QUERCUS Absolute Return FIZ (closed-end fund) and 3 more QUERCUS Parasolowy SFIO subfunds launched
- XI 2010 – QUERCUS Absolutnego Zwrotu FIZ (closed-end fund) launch
- XII 2010 – after two years and nine months of operation assets under management of Quercus TFI S.A. reach PLN 1.59 b, Quercus TFI S.A. share price equals PLN 3.25 e.g. 378% more than at debut
- III 2011 – shares listed on the main market of Warsaw Stock Exchange
